In fact, the client device will soon be just a thin client capable of running a web browser and connecting a few USB devices. This is basically what was around in the 70s and 80s when mainframes ran all the software and just delivered formatted output for display to a dumb terminal. Then we figured out we could do more if we had our own computer and didn't have to share it with everyone else. Guess that'll be the next big thing after the cloud. Wonder what they brand that as - "Personal Computing" maybe..? You know, this is not new at all.
